It is in a prime location, within walking distance to the city centre, only meters from the pristine Kootenay River, and nestled in the beautiful Selkirk Mountains.
This airport provides pilots with challenging, non-standard, circuit procedures to keep everyone on their toes and never bored.
Here is an excerpt from the Canada Flight Supplement for Nelson, BC (CZNL):

The single runway is 3100’ long and 75’ wide. A taxi way leads from the apron to the runway of which both ends 04 and 22 are used for both fixed wing and rotary wing (helicopter) operations. The runway was designed and built to Transport Canada Standards and recent (November 2003) testing by Pennco Engineering has found that the surface and subsurface still meet or exceed these standards

The space

Welcome to our luxurious Grand Loft, a chic and comfortable retreat. As you enter, you’ll be greeted by soaring ceilings, wood floors, and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and lake.

The Master bedroom boasts unique barn doors opening onto the beautiful living area below, a luxurious king bed, and a cozy electric fireplace sitting area. The Master loft also has a round pedestal table and chairs and a dream en-suite with a soaker tub and spacious waterfall shower.

The Canter room has a tranquil ambiance with a white horse mural and its own private full ensuite. The Canter room features deluxe bedding on a comfortable queen bed and closet space.

Relax in the living room, with its floor-to-ceiling windows and leather sectional couch, or prepare a meal in the enormous kitchen with its gas stove and 10′ fir slab bar with stools. When it’s time to dine, gather around the stunning live edge hand-hewn fir dinner table.

Step outside onto the private mountain/lake view balcony and unwind in the jacuzzi hot tub for two. Our home also features a washer/dryer and keyless code lock for your convenience.

While the railroad tracks run right in front of the suite, with trains passing by a couple of times a day, most guests find this interesting and no problem at all. The trains run fairly slow and don’t usually honk on this end of town. The tracks run all along the lake, and therefore the train can also be heard through much of the town.

Experience the beauty, comfort, and convenience of our gorgeous Grand Loft.

We embarked on a trip to Naples, Italy in 2017. We enrolled in a one week course from one of the most revered, legendary pizzaiolas, Enzo Coccia, to understand the tradition and methods behind preparing the dough and working the forno.  The course was rewarding and eye opening as we learned a century-old hand stretching dough techniques and simple authentic recipes.  In addition to these well-guarded methods, we discovered the beauty of pure, fresh, non-GMO ingredients.  The San Marzano tomato is a cornerstone ingredient that the locals take pride in as it is native only to the rich volcanic soil of the area.  We were inspired by this and felt we needed to take the same care in selecting our ingredients, hence the name, Marzano as an homage to quality and authenticity.

We welcome you to come check out Nelson’s new modern Italian restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week.
