Business After Business
Hey neighbour! A benefit of Chamber membership, and an open invite to businesses and staff of all sorts, here’s a great way to network, put familiar faces to names and get a quick read on issues of the day amongst other entrepreneurs. The Chamber’s Business After Business events are held 10 times a year at local stores and offices. They’re free and replete with local beverages, appies, opinions and outlooks. Chamber Gala
Dress up, dine out and donate. Nelson’s business event of the year, the annual Chamber Gala is held every November, and draws a crowd of 230 local community and corporate leaders, business owners and innovators to Selkirk College’s beautiful Mary Hall. The event features a silent and live auction of hundreds of local wares and services — from original art to cat skiing trips to helpful everyday service packages. Funds go towards vital Chamber initiatives including Shop Local and graffiti removal campaigns.
Lunch & Learn
The Nelson Chamber of Commerce is launching the Lunch & Learn Series, a new initiative designed to support our businesses in taking steps towards a greener and more resilient economy. This program is a direct response to the valuable feedback we received from our business community.
