Nelson and District Community Complex
The recently modernized Nelson and District Community Complex offers an array of indoor activities. Stay active with a full gym/weight room, studio, NHL-size ice arena, (home to the local Nelson Leafs), lap pool, leisure pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room. It hosts over 60 drop-in recreation programs for your whole family each week, included in general admission.
Nelson Curling Club
The six ice sheet Nelson Curling Centre is run by a team of dedicated volunteers who work hard to provide enjoyable, affordable curling for all. They offer curling at all levels, including competitive and recreational leagues for all ages, in a welcoming, accessible, and safe sporting environment. The venue has an upstairs lounge with a viewing area and fully stocked bar, and a commercial kitchen for catering events.
Nelson Squash Club
Whether you are a beginner, expert, or lifelong squash enthusiast the Nelson Squash Club offers a comfortable environment to improve your game or learn from scratch. A prominent fixture of Nelson’s racquet culture for over 30 years, the club hosts two sanctioned tournaments a year. It also has a fully licensed lounge.
The Cube Indoor Climbing Centre
This modern community funded non-profit indoor climbing gym offers a variety of climbing and bouldering programs for all levels and ages. Cube Climbing Centre is located at Mary Hall at the 10th Street campus of Selkirk College it is open seasonally from September to June.
