Kootenay Tamil Kitchen is a South Indian Restaurant in Nelson, BC. We serve real authentic South Indian food exclusive for the people of Kootenays. We are Tamils by birth living in the Kootenay region. Being far far away from home, we’ve had many a craving for a simple South Indian meal. The ones which we were lovingly fed by our mothers and grandmothers, where we had no calorie-counting. We wanted to recreate those awesome dishes and present them to our beloved Kootenay community.

We are a tutoring, education support and counselling cooperative offering individualized programs, small group learning, after school homework help, and family-centred counselling services in person and online. Escape to Africa Safaris leads small and intimate eco-tours hosted by a native Zimbabwean guide with a background in conservation, who focuses on wildlife, and cultural heritage. Guests experience wild Africa and learn about the plight of many endangered species that live within the savannah and woodlands. Luxury tented camps and lodges accommodate the tour in addition to traveling via bush plane, land cruiser and riverboat.
