Thank you to everyone in our business community who took the time to share your input during the Ministry of Environment and Parks’ engagement process on preventing waste outside the home last year. Your feedback is incredibly valuable and helps shape the future of recycling and waste management in B.C.

The Ministry has now released the Engagement Summary Report, along with other supporting documents, which you can find here: Preventing Waste Outside the Home – Engagement Results

We’re also pleased to share that the Ministry is moving forward with a direction package for the Recycling Regulation amendment, with more details expected soon. These changes could expand recycling opportunities for both the ICI (Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional) and residential sectors.

In the meantime, check out our newly launched ICI Organics Bin Pilot Program  now available to help your business divert organic waste and improve waste management practices.
