Business Breakfast – November 2025
Last week, the Nelson & District Chamber of Commerce hosted the November Business Breakfast Series, bringing together over 50 local businesses from sectors including Food & Beverage, Retail, Professional Services, Manufacturing, and Construction. The breakfasts provided an opportunity to discuss common challenges such as rising costs, staffing pressures, regulatory and operational hurdles, and navigating available support programs. At the same time, participants explored practical solutions, including collaborative approaches, shared resources, cost-saving strategies, and leveraging Chamber initiatives and local support programs, such as the new Energy Savings Program developed in partnership with FortisBC.
Thank you to everyone who attended and shared their input. Your insights provide valuable guidance in shaping the programs, resources, and advocacy efforts we offer to support local businesses. Overall, these events highlighted the value of connection, knowledge-sharing, and coordinated efforts in building a stronger, more resilient local business community.
