All-Candidates Forum
The Nelson and District Chamber of Commerce and Nelson at its Best are co-hosting a virtual online All-Candidates Forum, involving candidates for the Kootenay-Columbia riding in the upcoming September 20 federal election:
Date : Wednesday, September 15 7:00 – 8:30pm
Place: Zoom online platform
The forum will focus on social and economic issues, with all five candidates in attendance, to express their reasons for running, what they and their parties are offering–and of course, to answer questions.
To help set the stage for each issue being explored with the candidates, there will be brief issue overviews contributed by local experts working in various realms of community life.
This forum will be co-hosted by former journalist and Chamber of Commerce Director Bob Hall and Kim Bater with Nelson at its Best.
