Taking the Pulse of Our Business Community
Your Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Greater Nelson Economic Development is taking the pulse of the business community. Business Walks and surveys are one way to keep conversations flowing, and to ensure that solutions are not made alone but are informed by the business people who open their doors every morning and turn on the lights.
The future of our local economy depends on businesses like yours. And your future is strengthened when chambers of commerce and economic development partners walk beside you—listening, advocating, and connecting you with the resources you need.
Friday October 17th, we blitzed the main business districts with Chamber Directors and staff, Community Futures, Kootenay Career Development and elected officials and City staff with a short survey to get a feel for how business is through these unpredictable days. If we didn’t see you last week, sorry we missed you. We will continue one on one business outreach and business sector roundtables in the future.

Nelson and District Chamber of Commerce, and Board Member of Nelson and Kootenay Lake Tourism
