In August of 2003 the Home Hardware brand in Nelson was expanded with the addition of Nelson Home Building Centre to the well-known Hipperson Home Hardware which has been in existence since 1923. Since 2003 the Building Centre has expanded three times and grown from an initial staff of 8 to a staff of almost 50 people.
