Owner and teacher Diane Walters has worked with clay for thirty-five years and the learning industry for thirty. Sharing her experience and learning from others is at the core of this small business.

Though we specialize in beginner wheel and hand-building classes, if you are a practiced potter, you’ll appreciate our wheel and hand-building work areas, Shimpo wheels and slab roller, our selection of stains and glazes, and our regular firing schedule during our open studio sessions. We are Tamils by birth living in the Kootenay region. Being far far away from home, we’ve had many a craving for a simple South Indian meal. The ones which we were lovingly fed by our mothers and grandmothers, where we had no calorie-counting. We wanted to recreate those awesome dishes and present them to our beloved Kootenay community.
