The diploma focused on the studied of database management, networking, organizational behaviour, system analysis, and programming. However, he would be advised in this 3rd semester to leave and start his own business. After discussions with multiple teachers, he would leave school in his last semester to start-up a multi-media Co-op. Jono has previous experience with another start-up in is early adulthood. Community Education and Support Services is a collaboration between Jodi Bergman Counselling and Thrive Tutoring Services. We are a tutoring, education support and counselling cooperative offering individualized programs, small group learning, after school homework help, and family-centred counselling services in person and online. At CESS we strive to meet the needs of each student, helping them identify their own unique learning style and personal education goals using relational connection as our base.
Offers counselling including mental health, trauma, relationships, emotional difficulties, stress management, and spiritual healing.
All services are provided by master’s level clinical social worker registered with a professional licencing/registration body.
Sessions are personalized to support the uniqueness of the self or the relationship dynamics. Clients’ concerns may involve anxiety, chronic pain, substance use, trauma/abuse, stress from school or work, and a sense of the lack of purpose and meaning in their lives.
