“West Kootenay EcoSociety is a non-profit, community-driven organization, that works to bring together local residents to protect the natural environment while building just, equitable, healthy, and livable communities in the West Kootenay region. The three main pillars of our work are: taking action to reduce the crisis of climate change, promoting sustainable local food systems, and preserving wild places, ecosystems, air and water for future generations. If you’re looking to get involved in the community, EcoSociety’s a great place to learn about local issues and how make a tangible, positive impact in your community.”
