Feb 4 to Feb 5 Sunshine Drive CD Release Party@The Royal Sunshine Drive announces its debut CD “Borrowed Time”. The band is hosting a CD release party Saturday, February 4, 2012 at The Royal On Baker in Nelson, where they will play songs from the album, and fans can purchase CDs. Sunshine Drive's repertoire spans R&B, blues, rock, reggae, ska, and all CD tracks are original compositions by band members. Bassist Phil Wilson-Birks says, “We think people will love the quality, variety and 'danceability' of these tunes.” The title track “Borrowed Time” has already been released to Canadian radio stations. “Sunshine Drive covers an amazing musical range, and this CD really rocks“, says Susan Hastings, who hosts “In The Key of BC” at Kootenay Public Radio.
